EMMA McCAGG is a multi-genre visual artist who has received fellowships from New York State Council for the Arts (NYSCA) for her painting and film work. She has received grants for her painting and filmmaking from JM Kaplan Fund, and the City Artists Corps, among others. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally in group and solo shows in biennials, museums, and galleries. Her first film, a feature documentary titled, There's Something About John. won Best Feature Documentary at the Big Apple Film Festival in 2020.
RAÚL ZAMUDIO is an exhibition curator and writer. He has organized more than 150 exhibitions in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. As a writer he's written for many publications as well as authoring, co-authoring, or contributing to dozens of exhibition catalogs and art-related books. He studied art history at Columbia University and the Institute of Fine Arts/NYU, and is an alumnus of the Whitney Museum Independent Study Program. He teaches art history at Parsons the New School for Design, and at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.

Composer and Professor of Composition at The Herron School of Art, Dr. Jason Palamara directs the Machine Musician Lab at IU Indianapolis and founded and directs DISEnsemble, a 30+ member student group performing new music on technology-based instruments he built. He teaches Autonomous Music Systems, a course guiding students to build their own interactive musical performance agents, and essentially working at the intersection of AI, electronic music, and live performance — building new instruments and interactive systems rather than writing in a traditional acoustic composition style. Having been awarded an Arts and Humanities Fellowship, he's here in August composing a score for the 1925 silent clamation film, The Lost World, based on the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Alexander Moravcsik is a San Francisco-based multi-disciplinary artist currently focusing on the development of extended techniques for live hardware improvised electronic music. Trained as a jazz pianist and composer at Princeton University, his current project a[void]r (pronounced avoider)—a collaboration with fellow musician, DJ, and engineer Rob Whitaker—aspires to thoughtfully integrate the sensibilities of post-minimalism and modern jazz with the heady euphoria of the dancefloor through ephemeral, fully improvised live sets.
As Artist-in-Residence for the month of July, Moravcsik spent time pushing the boundaries of the project through deep listening and score analysis, formal transcription—of influences ranging from Floating Points and James Holden to Adrienne Lenker—as well as by developing a bespoke digital sample bank of “micro-compositions” for the duo to draw on during live performance. Additionally, he produced and explored the development of new works by Krista Detor with Bloomington musicians Zirque Michael Bonner, Jony Perron, and Dena El Saffar here at Airtime Recording Studios, and performed improv jazz sessions with Bonner, with a plan to return to Bloomington to perform with the hometown trio of incredible players!
